Mining Foreman
Employer: Stout Excavating Group, Texas LLC
Location: Kermit, TX (posting lists San Antonio/HQ but worksite is Kermit)
Pay: $28–$50 per hour (DOE)
Type: Full-time — Surface mining / onsite supervisory role
What You’ll Do

Supervise daily mine operations (loading, hauling, material handling) to meet production and quality targets.

Assign and schedule crew tasks, coordinate with maintenance and plant teams, and ensure efficient equipment use.

Conduct pre-shift safety meetings, workplace examinations, and lead incident investigations as needed.

Inspect work areas, enforce MSHA and company safety policies, and take corrective action for hazards.

Maintain production, time, and equipment records; assist with pit sequencing and mine development projects.

Qualifications / Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred; technical/mining experience helpful.

~3–5 years mining experience (frac sand, aggregates, or surface mining preferred) and 1–3 years supervisory experience.

Strong knowledge of MSHA regulations and safe mining practices.

Ability to operate/troubleshoot mobile mining equipment and use basic production reporting tools.
