Would You Take This Job?
This is a practical, hands-on role that leads to stable operational experience in mining. Considerations: shift schedules, on-site living/commute logistics depending on location, and heavy physical/environmental demands. Would you take this job? Why or why not?

It’s solid if you’re okay with 12-hour swings and lots of walking - most of my shift was checking drip lines, clearing plugged spray heads, and pulling PLS samples. Ask if OT kicks in after 8 or 40 and whether operators get a boot/clothing allowance; those two make a big difference. Pro tip: carry a few spare hose gaskets and a nylon brush - fixing a leaker on the pad in one trip beats hiking back to the connex.
